Autobus La Québécoise is part of the La Québécoise Group, made up of around twenty companies active in the field of land and air passenger transport. The company's main territory is Quebec but it extends its activities throughout Canada and the United States.
Leader in passenger transportation in Quebec, Groupe La Québécoise inc. was formed around the company Autobus La Québécoise, created in 1965 to meet the transportation needs of various school boards in the Quebec region.;
Extending to several regions and types of customers, the Group has diversified over the years. Today it has around twenty special-purpose companies that cover school, municipal, adapted, shuttle, intercity and charter bus transportation, helicopter transportation, residual materials collection, business jet charter, regional airline service and aeromedical evacuation.;

To maintain its safe bus fleet, the Group has established vehicle inspection and verification procedures that meet standards and exceed the requirements of regulations established by different levels of government.
All vehicles in the Autobus La Québécoise division are subject, as stipulated by the SAAQ, to the rigorous maintenance provided for by the Highway Safety Code. Mandatory maintenance covers all planned interventions (inspection, adjustment and change of parts) with the aim of keeping vehicles in good operating condition in accordance with the “Regulation respecting road vehicle safety standards”.
